Ingredients :
  

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Buttercream Frosting:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 –3 tbsp heavy cream or milk
  • Decoration:
  • Marshmallows for bunny ears
  • Chocolate chips or candy eyes
  • Pink jelly bean or fondant for nose
  • Shredded coconut for fluffy fur effect

Instructions :
 

  • Step 1: Bake the Cake
  • 1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
  • 2️⃣ In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • 3️⃣ In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  • 4️⃣ Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture. Mix until smooth.
  • 5️⃣ Divide batter evenly into pans and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • 6️⃣ Let cakes cool completely before decorating.
  • Step 2: Make the Buttercream Frosting
  • 1️⃣ Beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well.
  • 2️⃣ Add vanilla and heavy cream, beating until smooth and fluffy.
  • 3️⃣ Set aside a small portion and tint with pink food coloring for the ears and nose.
  • Step 3: Assemble & Decorate
  • 1️⃣ Place one round cake on a serving plate. Cut two ear-shaped pieces from the second cake and position them as ears.
  • 2️⃣ Frost the entire cake with white buttercream.
  • 3️⃣ Use pink frosting for the inner ears and nose.
  • 4️⃣ Add chocolate chips or candy eyes and a jelly bean nose.
  • 5️⃣ Sprinkle shredded coconut over the cake for a furry bunny effect.
