Ingredients :
  

  • 1/2 cup 115g unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup 150g granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup 50g brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup 40g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup 65g all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup 60ml strong brewed coffee or espresso
  • 8 oz 225g mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup 65g granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp brewed espresso
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder for dusting
  • 1/2 cup 120ml heavy cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions :
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Brownie Batter
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line the baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and mix in both sugars.
  • Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  • Sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, then gradually fold into the wet mixture.
  • Stir in the brewed coffee until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and set aside.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Tiramisu Layer
  • In a bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and brewed espresso until smooth.
  • Add the flour and mix until just combined.
  • Spread the tiramisu mixture evenly over the brownie layer.
  • Step 3: Bake and Finish
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before dusting with cocoa powder.
